1. Scope and Provider

(1) The Chronogalerie.de platform offers registered users the opportunity to publish, share, comment on, and interact with other members on content (e.g., texts, images, videos).
(2) The operator provides the technical infrastructure but does not guarantee continuous availability or specific functionality of the platform.
(3) Use of the basic functions is free of charge. Certain additional functions may be subject to a fee (if offered).
3. Registration and User Account
(1) Registration is required to use certain functions.
(2) Truthful and complete information must be provided during registration.
(3) Each user may only have one account and may not share it with third parties.
(4) The operator reserves the right to refuse registrations without giving reasons.
4. User Obligations

5. Rights of Use for Content
(1) By uploading content, the user grants the operator a simple, non-exclusive, spatially and temporally unlimited right of use to display, store, distribute, and make the content publicly accessible on the platform within the scope of the platform’s functionality.
(2) The copyright to the content remains with the user
(3) The user warrants that they possess all necessary rights to the content they publish and that they do not infringe any third-party rights.
6. Liability and Availability
(1) The operator assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the content posted by users.
(2) The operator is liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence. In cases of simple negligence, the operator is liable only for damages resulting from the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), but only up to the amount of foreseeable, typical contractual damages.
(3) The operator strives for high availability of the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
7. Data Protection
(1) The protection of users’ personal data is governed by the Chronogalerie.de privacy policy .
(2) By registering, the user agrees to the collection, processing, and use of their data within the framework of the platform.
8. Termination and Deletion of Accounts
(1) Users can delete their account themselves at any time or request deletion from the operator
(2) The operator may suspend or delete an account if the user violates these Terms of Use, particularly in cases of repeated or serious violations.
(3) Upon deletion, the personal data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with legal requirements.
9. Changes to the Terms of Use
(1) The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use, provided the amendments are reasonable for the user.
(2) Users will be informed of significant changes in a timely manner. Continued use of the platform after the amendments come into effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Final Provisions
(1) The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
(2) If the user is a merchant or does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the operator’s registered office shall be the place of jurisdiction.
(3) Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
